I think you'll enjoy the game a lot more if you were a kid when the original movie was out. Which means you will now be a thirty something and probably not a hardcore gamer (anymore).
Just finished the campaign mode and I must say I really quite enjoyed it. Although quite linear this suits my play style as I tend to get overwhelmed by sandbox games and just don't know what to do or worry I'm spending too much time doing the wrong thing. With this game I KNEW i was progressing towards the end goal and having a hoot at the well scripted story line(Written by Ayckroyd and Ramis)
Overall an enjoyable romp through some childhood memories, certainly worthy of a rental if you're not convinced.
